Time is flying. A friend of mine had a baby last week and I went to the hospital to see her. We have traveled to South Carolina and gone to museums and rode the pink pig. Then came my first Christmas and we opened presents. I met more family. In one week we partied at 6 different houses. Everything looks great. All my stats look good. I have only gained 21 pounds. Which I have been told is really good but I feel huge and heavy. The baby is great. Her heart beat is good and they think she is head down. She was breech at the last ultrasound. I go back in two weeks and then every week after that. I told the doctor that I have been extremely tired and swollen. She smiled and politely said get used to it. My "pregnancy is not so bad" bubble burst. I am very uncomfortable and tired. I avoid the outside like the plague. I have 44 days left and I am over being pregnant.<br /><br />On the bright side we are looking forward to the super baby shower Herschel, April and Paisley <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">are </span>throwing us. I have heard there will be games including one with a pile of dirt. Maybe you will have to sculpt my giant belly out of mud. To anyone coming to the shower make sure you ohh and aww over the fence. We decorated the baby's room and hall bathroom. We bought a new door for the nursery. We just need to paint it. The dots still need to go up on the wall. We need some creative assistance. But the room is looking great and makes me happy. The baby and I are doing well and keep getting good marks with the doctor. Our next appointment we will get an ultrasound and possible schedule the C-section. She is moving lots and you can see bumps in my belly when she moves. The past too days we have had baby class. Charlie and I both have enjoyed class although it reminds how soon she will be here. We are excited about more baby classes and some fun baby showers coming up. It was great! She is 100% a girl and we could see her face. She was a wiggle worm and kept putting her hands in front of her face. I guess she is a little camera shy. Her heart beat was good and she is 11 inches long (which is good). My blood pressure, sugar, protein, weight are all good. I have only gained 10 pounds so far. Although it feels much more. I have been feeling good but starting to feel uncomfortable at night and i have had some calf cramps. I can't believe we are in the home stretch. Tiny is doing well and is moving lots. Now when she kicks you can see my belly jump. I had my first taste of being pregnant during the summer this past week. We were in Illinois and the heat and humidity were unbearable. My feet got so large my chacos didn't even fit. I had to wear my wedding rings on a chain around my neck. Everyone has warned me that being pregnant in the heat of summer is not going to be fun. But really! I am going to buy some maternity shorts and bathing suit this week. If you want to see me I will probably be in the air conditioning. I have lots of pictures to post but I am having camera issues. I will not be posting the picture of my giant feet.<br />The nursery is coming along. We need to decorate and buy some shelves but all the furniture is ready. Tiny is taking after her dad already. We had our big ultrasound last month. Everything looked good and measured well. The baby was about 11oz and still a girl. I will try to post some pictures but we didn't have the best ultra sound tech. The pics and video aren't very good. We have another ultrasound next month that is 3D/4D. I had a check up today and the heart beat was in the 150s and all my test were good. I have been having some heartburn. I guess tiny is going to be a very hairy baby. Other than that I have been feeling good and look pregnant.<br />Charlie and I have been working on the nursery. It is looking good but we need to do some more decorating. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and all is well. The baby's heartbeat was good and is growing well. All my tests blood pressure, sugar, hemoglobins were good. I have lost two pounds in the past month that they weren't happy about. I got to hear the heartbeat and it is in the 160s. Which I am told means Tiny is a girl. We had a very quick ultrasound and Tiny was very cute moving around. We saw the face and spinal cord and legs. And.........<br /><br />Tiny might be a GIRL!!!<br /><br />The tech couldn't get a great look. We have another ultrasound in next month and they will confirm the sex. So we are waiting to buy anything girly until next month.<br /><br />While Tiny and I were in Philly a gang of painters showed up and painted Tiny's room. It looks great. We ordered the crib but it hasn't come in. Charlie is stalking people with strollers to get an idea of what stroller he wants. He has picked out a diaper bag that he wants to carry. Picking out baby names is hard and we don't agree on names.
