We were set to induce this morning but, she decided that she didn't need any help.

Very Big and Round

August has been a fun baby month. We had a wonderful baby shower weekend. We are so lucky to have such great and generous family and friends. Not only were the baby showers fun so were playing with all the presents we got. Charlie and I had the best time putting things together and setting it up in the nursery. The nursery is so much fun now. Thanks to everyone for coming and super special thanks to all the hosts.

Baby update:

She is estimated to weigh 6lbs 4 ozs and healthy as can be

I am dilated a little bit so her arrival may be soon

Look at all the people at Team Chambers new house. They have the perfect party house.

The cutest baby shower cake. Made special by Miss Paisley.

The wonderful food spread.

So many presents that it filled up the Durango.

Justin almost had to walk home.

Hot,Tired and 44 days to go

I had a doctor's appointment this week. Everything looks great. All my stats look good. I have only gained 21 pounds. Which I have been told is really good but I feel huge and heavy. The baby is great. Her heart beat is good and they think she is head down. She was breech at the last ultrasound. I go back in two weeks and then every week after that. I told the doctor that I have been extremely tired and swollen. She smiled and politely said get used to it. My "pregnancy is not so bad" bubble burst. I am very uncomfortable and tired. I avoid the outside like the plague. I have 44 days left and I am over being pregnant.

On the bright side we are looking forward to the super baby shower Herschel, April and Paisley are throwing us. I have heard there will be games including one with a pile of dirt. Maybe you will have to sculpt my giant belly out of mud. To anyone coming to the shower make sure you ohh and aww over the fence. It is awesome.

We are getting our camera back from repair this week so I can post some pics soon.

FYI A few things I am looking forward to:

1) Of course holding Sophia in my arms!!!

2) seeing my feet again and being able to wear my Chacos or any of my other shoes

3) wearing my wedding rings on my fingers (Sorry Paisley)

4) sleeping on my stomache

5) not getting that look from Charlie that is a mix of pity and fright when I try to get off the couch , into and out of the car or bed, or when I am too tired to drive home from work

Our First Baby Shower

We had our first baby shower this past weekend. All the great people I work with threw a very nice shower Friday night. The food was fantastic and they all chipped in to buy us our baby stroller/car seat combo. I am touched by there generosity. Thanks to all the molecular and seed people. A super thanks to the organizers. Charlie and I had a great time. No worries Herschel! Our camera is getting fixed so I just have a few pics of the stroller.

Charlie expertly put this together and installed it in the car. We are ready to go!
